Evergreen Aucuba Japonica Variegata
A beautiful dioecious evergreen plant that will enhance flower borders and beds. Most suited to architectural cottage and informal garden planting schemes. The plant will produce purple flowers in the spring, followed by large, glossy red fruits in the autumn if there is a male clone nearby.

How to water
The Aucuba Japonica Variegata is a very hardy plant that likes to be kept moist, but not waterlogged. Therefore, plant in well-drained soil.
Light and soil conditions
Your Aucuba Japonica Variegata likes full or partial shade. Grow in an area of your garden that gets north, east or west facing sun.
Keep in well draining, loam, chalk or sand soil that has an acid, alkaline or neutral ph. A well draining soil prevents your plant from experiencing waterlogged conditions that will be harmful to its root.
This evergreen shrub gives you beautiful year-round greenery. If a male clone is nearby, you'll get purple flowers in the spring and red fruits in the autumn.
