Design Features 

The elegant fluted shape and tapered base of this large stone plant pot makes it both beautiful and strong. Fluted in form with solid ornate handles, its design is Inspired by the iconic Anduze jars of the South of France created in the 17th century to add grandeur to the gardens of aristocratic homes. Just like its predecessors Colette is built to last, resisting frost and rain whilst gaining weathered character with every passing season. Large in scale, this glazed planter has plenty of space for full foliage and helps add height to shrubbery and shorter blooms. Choose between our aged turquoise salt glaze or gloss-glazed honey designs.  

Materials 

We use only high quality clay for our Ancient pieces, as well as natural minerals to create a palette of earthy tones. The clay is pressed into moulds and air dried before being fired in a traditional kiln, locking in long-lasting strength and a frostproof finish. The textured salt glaze is then added by hand, creating a tactile surface that gets better with time. 

Due to the handmade nature of these pots, finishes and colour will vary. Each pot is a one of a kind piece. When ordering multiples, we will try our best to match the finish where possible.
