Hand finished in a weathered stone look, this understated piece adds structural decoration whilst helping your garden thrive. With simple assembly and minimal maintenance, you can spend less time worrying and more time enjoying the birds it brings to your garden.

A handcrafted stone effect bird bath finished with a traditional salt glaze, designed to sit naturally in gardens and provide a simple, weather-resistant water source for visiting birds.

Design Features

This design was inspired by the strength and texture of natural rock formations, creating a calming focal point that can weather the seasons. The generous sized dish is ideal for attracting a variety of birds to drink and bathe, with gently sloping sides to keep your garden visitors comfortable and easy to see. When it's time to clean or store, simply detach the dish and take it inside.

Materials

We use only high quality clay to ensure your pieces can stand the test of time. The clay is hand-pressed into moulds, then air dried and fired in a traditional kiln to give it strength and stability. The final tones and texture are created by the salt glaze, which is applied by hand through a heat-distressing process. This coating also protects your piece from frost and rain, so you can leave it outside for longer.

This garden stone-effect bird bath is fully frostproof, meaning it can be left outside all year round. For easy maintenance, rinse the dish regularly with fresh water to keep it clean and welcoming for visiting birds.

To keep your birdbath in the best condition please ensure water does not freeze in the bird bath bowl, if in doubt empty the water during freezing temperatures.

Beautiful birdbath

Beautiful bird bath, well made and a lovely addition to my garden. Bowl fits perfectly onto the base and very stable. Very pleased with my purchase. Arrived very well packaged and extremely promptly.

Looked at many bird bath and couldn’t decide on which one I really like, then saw this one and straight away knew I liked it. When it arrived I wasn’t disappointed placed it in my garden and it looked like it had been there for years. Top quality bird table and service

Spotted this bird table at the Hampton Court Garden Festival and regretted not buying it. Later found it on the website and ordered. Looks fab in our garden and really hoping the matching water feature comes back in stock soon!!

A beautiful thing.

It’s a lot of money for a birdbath but….it is very lovely and a cut above others that I had looked at. It’s a rare thing where it will go as easily in a period style garden as a modern one. Good size, arrives in two parts and popular with birds and squirrels alike. If a bird bath is for life then you might as well buy one that is a delight to look at.

Such a beautiful bird bath. I LOVE the aged affect. Adds character to the garden whilst providing the birds with something. I’ve added some stones to the bottom for the smaller birds. Hopefully will get lots of them visiting!

GARDEN STONE BIRD BATH - SALT GLAZE

Had my eye on this for a while and it didn't disappoint. Love it. Arrived promptly. Very useful that the bath section comes off for ease to clean and refill. Not too heavy either. It looks wonderful, the birds love it - had 5 sparrows splashing around today - and when friends come over, I add a mini solar fountain. Perfect.

Fabulous bird bath

This is a really fabulous bird bath. So beautifully designed, it would suit any type of garden. The birds love it - we have them queuing up for a drink & splash! A high quality sturdy bird bath that I would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic looks even better than it appears on the Web site.
Very unique and the finish is a one off.
Seemed a wee bit too deep but soon solved by placing a few pebbles in the centre.
Plenty of room for a few birds at a time to bathe and drink, would definitely recommend to anybody looking for something different but beautiful.

Salt Glaze Stone Garden Bird Bath

The bird bath is absolutely beautiful. There were a number of delivery problems (the first top had a chip on its rim and then a different top altogether was delivered but the third attempt was successful) and the excellent Roberta in the office sorted this very quickly and ably so I’m able to give 5 stars. Hope you will give her a rise. 😉
I love it and so do the birds. It was an expensive item to buy at almost £200, but with a first purchase discount it was better and it really is very beautiful and worth it. I’m not going anywhere on holiday this year so I’ve bought things for the garden and this is gorgeous.

Stunning birdbath.

Thank you Gardenesque for ending my search for a birdbath! It has an aged appearance and looks as if it's been there for along time and compliments my staddlestone. It's sturdy and easy to clean, as the dish tips or lifts off , but stays firmly in place when full of water. The birds are now using and loving it for drinking and bathing. I would highly recommend one in your garden!

Beautiful and authentic looking bird bath.

It is hard to find a classy bird bath and I had ben deliberating over buying this one for a while. Two cheaper versions cracked and are now useless so I was determined to go for quality - and boy am I glad I did. This is really lovely. It looks original, old and is heavy and solid. It won't tip over and looks like it has always been here. Very pretty and a great present for the hubby's birthday. Salt Glaze Bird Bath

Beautiful piece! Very heavy so doesn't get knocked over. Love the salt glaze. Quite deep so I have added pebbles in to mine so the little sparrows can have a bath! Loved by everyone!

Bird Bath

My husband gave me this for my birthday (after a big hint). It is beautiful but large and heavy. Consequently far to heavy for me to empty to refill. I think I will have to get a sponge to get the water out. Thrilled with it though.

Fabulous!

The bird bath was delivered very quickly and I am delighted with it. It sits perfectly in a space where the previous owners had a potted plant. The light shimmers on the surface of the water. I just love it. Hope the birds do too!

Beautiful product and Great service

Exactly as described on the web site. Excellent quality and looks lovely in our garden. An added bonus also matches the pots our Phoenix ferns are in. Delivery only took two days to SW Cornwall. Fabulous service and a lovely product

Unusual question but I have a fire pit that would sit inside the bowl Would this cause damage as would be a good feature at an evening bbq
