Design Features

A simple, classic design inspired by Cotswold landscapes and gardens. With its high, supportive backrest, subtle curves and gentle rocking motion, the Classic Rocker is a comfortable spot to while away an afternoon. Straightforward to assemble and look after, this occasional chair is easy to add alongside other Repton pieces when extended family come to visit.

Our 100% sustainably sourced eucalyptus hardwood is both hard wearing and moisture resistant, making the Repton collection naturally waterproof and easy to maintain all year round.

Although this set is weatherproof, we do advise storing your cushions inside and using a cover when not in use.

The wood has been treated with coloured wood oil to protect it from rotting and drying, however we recommend treating it with wood oil a few times a season to prolong the life of your furniture.

Dust regularly with a clean dry cloth.
Wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth and then dry the surface with a clean dry cloth.
Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents.
Avoid placing on uneven surfaces.
Do not drag furniture, always lift to move.

Attractive, comfortable and easy to assemble

I've wanted a rocking chair for the garden and found this one while searching online. It is splendid! The grey finish is beautifully done, and the wood is of good quality. Assembling the chair was straightforward, and it is solid. The rocking motion is smooth and the seat comfortable (even more so with a cushion!).

Lovely rocking chair, I already have one which has weathered really well outside.

Fantastic chairs

We’re delighted with our pair of Repton rocking chairs. They’re comfortable (they don’t need a cushion so you can have an impromptu sit down!), were straightforward to assemble and feel stable. Because they have a rocker bar base they’re fine to use on grass where a chair with legs might sink in. Nice tall back means you can pop your head back for a quick power nap! Highly recommended.
Would buy matching footstools if they were made (please, Gardenesque).
