A set of two wooden garden deck chairs crafted from natural eucalyptus, designed for relaxed outdoor seating by the lawn, terrace or poolside. Repton offers a timeless way to enjoy slower moments outdoors.

Design

Inspired by the quiet charm of Cotswolds poolside gardens, the Repton deck chair is designed for unhurried days outdoors. Its classic folding form allows it to move easily around the garden, settling just as comfortably beside a pool or on a sun-warmed terrace as it does on the lawn.

The gently reclined profile encourages relaxation, making it ideal for reading, resting or simply taking in the view. Simple, familiar and unfussy in shape, the design allows the quality of the making to speak for itself, creating a piece that feels both practical and enduring.

Materials

Crafted from natural, sustainably sourced eucalyptus wood, Repton is chosen for its strength and suitability for outdoor use. Eucalyptus is naturally resistant to rot and moisture, making it a dependable choice for garden furniture. Its warm tone brings softness and character when new, gradually weathering to a silvery grey over time if left untreated.

The solid timber construction provides reassuring stability, while the folding design makes the chairs easy to store or reposition as the day unfolds

Your Repton chairs have been designed for lasting comfort and style, with weather-resistant materials that will age beautifully over time. To help it stay in its best condition for many seasons, please follow the guidance below.

Wood Care

  • The eucalyptus wood has been treated with a coloured wood oil to help protect it from rotting and drying. We recommend re-treating with a suitable outdoor wood oil a few times each season to further prolong its life.
  • Dust regularly with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Wipe up any spills immediately with a damp cloth, then dry the surface with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Never use abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents, as these can damage the finish.
  • Avoid placing the set on uneven surfaces.
  • Do not drag furniture; always lift when moving.
  • We recommend storing the set indoors during the winter months, or using a breathable, weather-resistant cover when not in use.
