Built for year-round outdoor use, the Borge Large Grey Terracotta Pot will age beautifully with time. To maintain its quality, we recommend using pot feet to improve drainage and prevent moisture absorption. In harsh winter frosts, wrapping the pot in horticultural fleece or blankets can help insulate both the planter and the plant inside. Adding a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base before planting will prevent the drainage hole from clogging, supporting healthy root development. For best results, avoid placing the pot directly on bare earth, as terracotta is naturally porous and may absorb excess moisture over time.
