To maintain its natural finish, we recommend using pot feet to improve drainage and prevent moisture absorption. During colder months, wrapping the trough in horticultural fleece can provide extra insulation. For best planting results, add a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base to enhance drainage. Avoid placing the trough directly on bare soil to prevent water retention.
