Crafted from high-quality clay, the 74cm Clayton Grande brings classic garden charm with its impressive size and refined double ridge detailing. Designed for statement planting, this extra-large terracotta planter is ideal for trees, sculptural shrubs, or vibrant floral arrangements. Handmade for durability and frost resistance, it provides a striking focal point that lasts through the seasons.

Design Features

Available in an extra-large size, this garden planter offers ample space for deep-rooted plants, ensuring they thrive. Its tapered shape makes repotting simple, while the lower double ridge design enhances its traditional aesthetic. It features three built-in drainage holes to encourage healthy root growth, helping plants flourish in all weather conditions. The thick outer edge adds durability and a bold, structured look. Pair with Clayton Terracotta Pot Feet for improved drainage and a polished finish.

Materials

Our terracotta is handmade using traditional firing techniques, producing a highly durable, all-weather planter. The natural properties of the clay allow it to develop a unique patina over time, adding to its authentic charm. Fired at high temperatures, it withstands seasonal changes while maintaining its integrity and strength.

Our terracotta pots are designed for year-round outdoor use, but we recommend using pot feet to aid drainage and prevent moisture absorption. In extreme winter conditions, wrapping the pot with bubble wrap or blankets can help insulate both the terracotta and the plant inside. To prevent clogging, add a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base before planting.
