A decorative, large terracotta urn inspired by traditional Mediterranean vessels, the Rhea Pot brings sculptural form and timeless character to the garden. Design Features

The Rhea Terracotta Urn is defined by its distinctive ribbed profile, which introduces texture, depth and shadow across the surface of the clay. Inspired by traditional Mediterranean storage vessels, its generous body tapers gracefully towards a narrower opening, creating a decorative silhouette that feels both timeless and architectural.

The restricted planting aperture makes Rhea particularly well suited to specimen planting, allowing olive trees, clipped topiary, lavender and ornamental grasses to take centre stage. Materials

Handcrafted using traditional kiln-firing techniques, the Rhea Urn is made from premium frostproof terracotta designed to withstand the changing British seasons. The natural clay remains breathable, helping to regulate moisture levels within the soil while supporting healthy root development.

To maintain its structural integrity, we recommend using pot feet to aid drainage and prevent moisture retention. In freezing conditions, adding a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base before planting helps prevent waterlogging and root rot. For best results, pair with well-draining compost to support healthy plant growth.
