Design Features

The Delia Terracotta Planter is a refined, semicircular design that brings an elegant touch to outdoor spaces. Its intricate garland detailing is carefully hand-finished, giving it an ornate yet timeless feel. Designed for wallside planting, courtyards, or pathways, this planter maximises space while adding depth and texture to gardens. Made using traditional Tuscan techniques, each piece is unique, with natural imperfections that enhance its rustic charm.

Materials

Crafted from Galestro clay, the Delia Terracotta Planter represents absolute quality in Italian pottery. Used for centuries in fine architectural details and interior finishes, Galestro clay is known for its strength, durability, and natural weather resistance. Each planter is individually handmade, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. The clay’s porous nature allows for healthy root growth, making it an excellent choice for long-lasting, vibrant planting displays.

Drainage Hole

Designed for year-round outdoor use, the Delia Terracotta Planter is crafted from frost-resistant Galestro clay. To protect its natural finish, we recommend using pot feet to aid drainage and prevent moisture buildup. During colder months, wrapping the planter in horticultural fleece will help insulate it. Before planting, add a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base for optimal drainage. Avoid placing the planter directly on bare soil to prevent excessive moisture retention.
