The Lucca large terracotta pot is a robust, frostproof planter made with a premium galestro clay shaped to a traditional half barrel design.

A celebration of Italian design, the Lucca Terracotta Pot features a simple yet sophisticated barrel-like silhouette. This pot is both a practical and decorative choice for outdoor spaces, each size including a single drainage hole to keep your plants happy and healthy.

Materials

Handcrafted using Galestro clay, a premium natural material sourced from Tuscany. Galestro is known for its durability, kiln dried for year-round resilience in all weather conditions, including frost. Each piece is uniquely made by hand, using century old techniques passed down through generation and ensuring each pot is one of a kind.

Designed for year-round outdoor use, the Lucca Terracotta Pot is made from premium Galestra clay, ensuring longevity and durability. To maintain its natural finish, we recommend using pot feet to aid drainage and prevent moisture retention. In colder months, a horticultural fleece wrap can provide extra insulation. For best planting results, add gravel or broken terracotta at the base to support proper drainage. Avoid placing the pot directly on bare soil to prevent water retention.
