Hand Made in Italy
Designed for year-round outdoor use, the Sorrento Citrus Terracotta Pot will age beautifully over time. To maintain its natural finish, we recommend using pot feet to aid drainage and prevent moisture absorption. In harsh winter frosts, wrapping the pot in horticultural fleece or bubble wrap helps protect both the planter and the plant inside. Before planting, a layer of gravel or broken terracotta at the base ensures optimal drainage, preventing waterlogging and supporting healthy root growth. As terracotta is naturally porous, avoid placing the pot directly on bare soil to prevent excess moisture retention.
